Suzanne Pleshette (born June 25 1944) was an American actor, voice-over artist and writer. She held more than a hundred credits in her almost five-decade career. Pleshette is a native of New York and began her acting journey on stage. In later years she began to make the gradual transition to film. Her most well-known movies are Rome Adventure, The Birds, Fate Is the Hunter and If it's Tuesday This Must Be Belgium. Films and TV appearances also had a variety of roles. She received 4 Emmy Awards nominations and was even nominated two times for Golden Globe Awards. Pleshette got two nominations and won the Laurel Award, in 1963, for a film called "The Birds.' Pleshette passed away in 2008 and was posthumously awarded the status of a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
